Hendersonville, NC August 20, 2026: Teleios Collaborative Network (TCN) announced the fifth annual recipients of the Care As It Should Be Awards during the August Board of Directors Meeting.
The purpose of the Care As It Should Be Awards is to recognize those individuals who make an extraordinary impact on the patients and families they serve daily. “We recognize that frontline staff consistently provide exceptional care to patients; these awards honor those who elevate that care even further—individuals who go above and beyond to ensure each patient’s experience is as compassionate, meaningful, and supportive as possible during vulnerable and challenging times,” said Chris Comeaux, President and CEO of TCN.
The 2026 award recipients are Meredith Hammond, LCSW, Compassionate Care Western North Carolina; Deneen Moore, CNA II, AMOREM; Chuck Crisp, Nurse Practitioner, AMOREM; Stephanie Lowe, Serious Illness Care Nurse Liaison, ANCORA Compassionate Care.
Each recipient will receive a crystal-etched award along with a monetary gift. The monetary award may be used to further their education and/or to celebrate with their team members.
Comeaux added, “We congratulate all the nominees. TCN is proud to recognize those who are committed to the missions of their respective organizations and, most importantly, those who are on the front lines every day providing exemplary care”.
