Lynn Flanagan

Lynn joined Hospice of Rockingham County, Inc. in 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1990; she earned her MSN (with a concentration in mental health nursing) from East Carolina University in 1995.

Her considerable healthcare background includes psychiatric nursing, home health, and hospice. She taught psychiatric nursing as a clinical instructor at ECU and mental health nursing and community health at Rockingham Community College. She has held certification as a hospice and palliative nurse and was in the first class of Teleios University, obtaining her Certification in Leadership Excellence in 2020.

After joining Hospice of Rockingham County as a part-time admissions nurse, Lynn held every role a nurse could hold with the agency, including hospital liaison, nurse case manager, and clinical operations manager. She was named President & CEO in 2011. Under her leadership, the agency has doubled its staff and operational budget. She currently sits on the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) committee and beginning October 2021, will represent Class B organizations with Teleios Collaborative Network.
