Angela Gruebbel
CPHRM, Chief Risk Officer
Starting as a paralegal in a small law firm in her native Eastern KY, Angela has spent the last 20+ years living and working in Louisville, KY. She is a Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Manager, is a member of to the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM), and has a breadth of knowledge in healthcare risk areas, including contracts, compliance, governance and operations. With years of service at the former Jewish Hospital & St Mary’s HealthCare, Trilogy Health Services, and Hosparus, a nonprofit hospice, she has experience in various service lines within the healthcare industry. In addition to drafting and negotiating contracts, facilitating a variety of governance projects and providing guidance on operational and other areas of risk, Angela has worked extensively with insurance brokers and carriers to maximize the property and casualty programs for the various providers for whom she has worked. She is experienced in risk transfer, as well as claim prevention and mitigation.
Angela has served as the Chief Officer of Risk and Contract Management at Teleios Collaborative Network since 2019. The purpose of her role is not only to protect TCN and its members by managing risk on a variety of fronts, but also to take complex legal questions and concepts and break them down so that TCN and its members can make informed decisions and develop practical action plans aligned with their respective risk appetites.
Angela lives in Louisville with her son, Jacob, and their three cats, Linus, Felix and Chloe.
